I've been nannying and casually babysitting for the last three years; full time for the last year and a half. Not bad for a senior in high school, I think! Because I do all of my schoolwork online, I've been able to be extremely flexible in my schedule and have in turn gained experiences with kids of all ages; infants to toddlers to pre-teens. Although some families prefer nannies who are older in age, I've found that my age actually gives me an advantage in my job. I have tons of energy to keep the kids entertained, and parents love that their kids can relate to me. I find enjoyment in being someone kids can learn from and look up to, and of course: have fun with!
