I have never been a nanny before, but I have been a child sitter for an in-store daycare. I have experience watching as many as 8 children at a time, in a small playroom where they can mingle and play while parents go shopping for up to an hour at a time. I currently have a part time position, but would love to move in to a full time position with children that i may actually get to know better and spend more time with. At my current job, I never get enough of a chance to build trust and friendship with parents and children and I would love to find that in a nanny job. It is incredibly important to me to build a good bond with people, so that I can better do my job with their children as well as the parents. I am an artist, so Read more at my current daycare job I enjoy drawing for the children so that they can color my drawings. I draw anything from a simple teddy bear to a complex disney character. A big hit has been Frozen, and so I have provided children with their favorite themed characters from the movie. I am willing to sit down and play board games or silly games, or video games and play with toys with children, which i already do at my current job. I am certified in CPR, and I do have a food workers card. I am able to cook, i really enjoy cleaning (my current job involves a LOT of cleaning and organizing), and i am only able to work with children who are already potty trained. I would prefer children who were not still in diapers as well, because I am not experienced in diaper changes.
