My name is Allison and I am a nanny from Olympia, WA. I graduated from Whitman College in 2016, where I studied biology and chemistry, and am planning on eventually working with expectant mothers in ultrasound. Post Whitman, I worked in an isolated mountain village for five months in the Cascade Mountains, and then thru-hiked across all of Spain and New Zealand's North Island before returning to Olympia. Currently, I work for two families in a nanny-share with their two 2 year old boys, and wild dog. I started with them last July when the boys were 18 and 20 months old, and feel very comfortable working with infants. I try to constantly encourage creativity, get the boys out of the house on a daily basis - taking them to local parks, museums, music events - and read to them as often as possible. I love working with children and Read more am very comfortable working with children of all ages. Besides nanny positions, I have worked at several camps in the area, including the Olympia Hands On Children's Museum. I grew up with the same full-time nanny for five years so I know how helpful and important they can be for a family. I am CPR, in adult, child, and infant CPR, and First Aid certified.
