I'm a 31 year old mother of one - I love nature, cooking, playing the violin, and generally being a good ball. I grew up working as a babysitter and violin teacher. I worked for 3 years as a teacher at an early childhood school until my daughter was born. Then, for the past 3 years, I have been working as a professional nanny - my daughter joins me and parents have found it to be a positive experience as it provides an opportunity for socialization, emotional development, etc.. I nanny with compassion and respect and use a positive discipline approach with minimal intervention (influenced by RIE, Waldorf, and Montessori) . Days are spent engaging in crafts, visiting parks, exploring the beach, and having fun at Children's Museum. I have a clean record, CPR/First Aid training, STARS certification, and plenty of extra education.
