Meet Mindy

I have 8 years of experience working in the educational settings. Four of those years I worked in preschools and the other four years I worked with special needs students at an A+ school in AZ. I have lots of experience working with cognitive, social, emotional growth, and behavior challenges. In total I have worked with children for over 18 years. When I wasn't working in educational settings, I was a full time stay at home mom of 3 amazing boys. During this time I had a buisiness working as a facepainter for children's birthday parties and events. I also had a home bakery and often included my kids in my work. When working with children I aim to help them to self advocate and be independent in the future. To accomplish this I try not to do everything for a child and generally use a method of I do, Read more we do, you do until a child can do the task independently. At the same time always encourage them to always encourage a child to ask for help and self-advocate. I am kind, patient, positive, fun, encouraging, self motivated, organized, and creative. I work well with others and I feel that with the skills I have and your parenting style, we can collaborate together to make the most of the time I spend with your family. My family moved here in June 2021 from Arizona. I enjoy arts, crafts, cooking, baking and helping others. I especially enjoy these things with kids. In addition to providing great care for your family, I can also help with light housekeeping and I don't mind helping with your fur babies.
