My name is Michelle and I am 25 years old. I have 10 years of extensive childcare experience. I have worked at licensed daycare centers, babysitting, and for 4 years I worked as an early childhood assistant teacher at a Montessori school (ages 2.5-6). I switched over to nannying full time at the beginning of the pandemic. * CPR/Basic First Aid (including infant CPR) * WA Food Handlers permit * Clean background check/driving record * Safe sleep training for infants/toddlers * Bloodborne Pathogens training * State approved STARS Child Care Basics training (30 hours) * Can provide references * MEIPN early childhood training course In addition to my certifications I also have experience in meal prep/nutritional guidelines for infants/toddlers/kids along with basic household management (tidying up, washing children's laundry, and grocery shopping). For infants, I thrive at creating schedules to keep your baby on track for meeting those important milestones. Read more In the past, I have always implemented basic ASL for infants and young children because it provides an extra method of communication. Being the nanny in a family to me means that I would be providing a schedule oriented, fun and safe environment for children to develop and thrive in. My personal strengths include positive communication, ability to make proactive decisions, and having an abundance of patience. I would be best described as dedicated, eager to learn, optimistic, flexible, happy/fun, sympathetic, energetic, and organized. I have worked with children ranging from 4 weeks old-16 years old. I truly thrive with infants-preschool age; however, I like working with all ages. I am open to a background check and meet & greets with your family. I'd love to chat if you are interested in a long term nanny!
