Hello, my name is Ashish and I have many years of experience with children and that includes helping them with zoom classes and online assignments due to covid-19. I have been with the YMCA of Greater Seattle since 2016. I’ve had many job titles while at the YMCA. These include being an in school program provider where I would go to schools after school time to provide enriching, engaging, age appropriate, and fun games and activities. I was also a summer camp staff, that included caring for the safety of children of all ages, providing STEM and art activities, fun games with a purpose, and awesome reflective conversations for why we did what we did. I have also done after school programs at the Y that consisted of helping children with their homework as well as providing those engaging activities until parents picked up. Currently, I am a Y LEAP Read more program supervisor. I supervise and support staff that are directly working with children that are participating in their live online classes and we support them with their assignments and classes. I am very good at providing technical support for these children. As well as emotional support because this new way of school can be very stressful for them. After their school day we provide enriching and beneficial activities for them. This program is ages 5-11 years old however I am comfortable working with ages 3-16. I consider myself to be a very patient and well rounded person. I love seeing children improve and thrive and would love to help your children with that as well.
