Hi Family! My name is Amanda and I am so excited to have the potential opportunity to work with your little ones as they start their journey in life! I have been working with kids for practically my entire life. I am 22 years old, recently married and have no kids yet. I have a very fun, outgoing and caring personality and absolutely love kids and their individual personalities. I love the outdoors, I am very physically active and I am always up for adventures. I work very well with routine but I am also flexible and spontaneous. I am a very accountable and punctual individual and go above and beyond when possible! I first started babysitting (kid sitting) for my 3 younger siblings when I was 10 or 11 years old and I have been trusted to watch many other kids since then. All throughout my high school years Read more I nannied during the summer and babysat for multiple different families, sometimes up to 6 kids and those of ages 0-13 throughout the entire year. I have many years of experience in working with kids of all ages and all different backgrounds. I also have experience working with infants for 2 years with a few different families. I also have worked in the emergency department for 3 years now as a technician ( I am CPR certified) and have seen kids at their worst points and have then had the opportunity to take care of them (and the parents) with love and compassion in intense and difficult situations. In previous babysitting opportunities, I worked hard to get the kids out of the house and active as much as possible. Whether it was bike rides to the park, going to the science center, just playing outside, weather permitting, or coloring, crafts and maybe some singing and dancing inside, I am not afraid to get a little messy if it means we're all having fun. I can do house chores when needed, change diapers, cook, clean, bottle feed to toddler feed and help wherever else is needed.
