I have been in childcare since the age of 12 starting as a mother's helper and neighbourhood babysitter in California. I continued to babysit in my community after moving to Canada in 2001. I went to high school in British Columbia, competed in swimming, rowing and volunteered at my local animal shelter. I graduated high school in 2007, traveled internationally for a couple years, lived in NYC and then moved to Seattle in 2010. I have been both a nanny and babysitter in Seattle for local and visiting families both through Sittercity and references since 2011. For the year of 2017 I moved to Idaho and furthered my training. Let me start out saying that Simona has proven adequate dealing with my child and the other 5 year old in my nany share. However she has been inflexible with the two moms in the nanny share while we ironed out the kinks. She has been rigid, uncooperative, and inflexible in her approach to the parents and often butted heads with me (who hired her and arranged for a nanny share) as we were trying to meet the needs of both of the families. Simona quit our nanny share with less than 1 hour before the start of the day. Both families were ready to start the day but we had no opportunity to find a replacement. Nor did we see this comming. This shows that she lacks maturity and experience. Simona was adament that she didn"t care if she left us without a sitter, It was NOT her problem. I would not reccommend her for any job in the future until she proved she was more mature to handle ALL the responsibility that goes into being a sitter/nanny. sincerely.
