Hi, my name is Jordan. I'm an 18-year-old girl who loves kids and pets. I am currently in the process of getting CPR-certified. My past experience as a nanny was for twin 7-year-old boys. I helped them with their homework after school, and during the summer, reviewed second-grade and third-grade concepts with them to prepare them for future lessons. I also mediated arguments (which happened a LOT, mostly over videogames), demonstrating fairness and calmness. I made sure they cleaned up their messes and did not do unsafe things (for some reason, they loved standing on tables and chairs. I made sure to treat the kids with respect and talk to them as equals. Once or twice, I got calls from their mother that on days that I wasn't coming over, they would cry and ask when I would come over again. I believe that is because I did not talk Read more down to them just because they were younger and I was older. They were astonishingly mature and intelligent for their age, and my experience with them is why I am continuing nannying as I move from the East Coast to the West Coast.
