My name is Lauren, i am 25 years old and currently in the process of relocating to Kansas City. For the last year and a half i have been working as a preschool teacher, molding the minds of children from 14 months to 5 years. Prior to that i worked for a number of years as a part time nanny with three different families in the Seattle area. When the pandemic hit i was forced to find steady work within the grocery business but returned quickly to childcare, babysitting after work and on weekends, which gave me the time and means to continue my search for a full time position on a teaching team. I am a compassionate, creative and gentle person. I believe in creating a positive, friendly and appropriately challenging environment in my classroom and with families for whom i provide extended care outside of the learning center.
