Hi, my name is Linna and I use she/her pronouns! I am currently a first year graduate student at the University of Washington, where I am pursuing my Master’s degree in Educational Speech-Language Pathology. I attended UW for my undergraduate as well and obtained a Bachelor’s in Speech & Hearing Sciences w/ a minor in Early Education. Long term, I hope to become a pediatrics speech pathologist & work towards equitable accessibility and inclusiveness across all communities. I have always loved working with kids and want to make a positive difference for others :) I started babysitting at 15 years old and have continued to babysit occasionally/in between jobs over the last six years. Professionally, I worked at a program for autistic children/children with autism (listed twice in respect of both identity-first & person-first preferences) for two years and as a Toddler/Preschool Teacher for almost one year. I am also Read more CPR/First Aid certified, taken numerous classes focusing on education & child development, and am up to date for all vaccinations (including COVID series + a booster). For the most part, I am only looking to be an occasional babysitter (once/twice a week max, temporary jobs, or date night babysitting) as my schedule can change on a week-by-week basis due to clinical work. I would love to work with a family that shares the same values as I do as it’s important to me that respect & honesty must go both ways :)
