Hi! My name's Miranda, and I've been working with kids of all ages for the last eleven years - in nanny roles as well as within the education system. I started off in a nanny share for two families with five kids (ages 3-11), where I learned the importance of communication and patience alongside positive reinforcement and exploration. I think time outdoors and imaginative play are incredibly important for child development, and I love to incorporate those whenever possible. I spent three years working at a school for children and adults with special needs - including autism and other behavioral/developmental disorders - and I absolutely fell in love with it. I had the opportunity to work with kids and adults from ages 7-21, all of whom have a wide range of abilities and behavioral support needs.
