Hello! MY EXPERIENCE: My name is Gizelle and I have been a nanny/babysitter since I was 16 years old. I was a nanny for one family consistently for 3 years until I moved back to Seattle. With that family which I love and I am still in contact with, I took care of their three kids from ages infant (from the time he was born till he was 3 years old), a 2 year old, and 8 year old. Since then I have babysat for families in my area and I can’t wait to meet a family I can be with for the next couple years. SCHOOLING: I currently go to Shoreline Community College, studying to become a Clinical social worker with a focus on children and families. I am also taking a course with Harvard University to earn a certificate in Child protection. In two years, I hope to Read more join the Army National Guard. My dream is to open up my own practice in Washington to provide services to homeless families and provide free mental health services to anyone who needs it. ABOUT ME: I am the Head Captain of the cheer and poms squad at my college. I love connecting with people which is why I want to become a social worker and try to be as involved at my school. I’m an ambivert, I love being home with my boyfriend and binge-watching greys anatomy and Seinfeld. But I also love to travel and being a caddy to my BF when he plays golf when we travel to Palm Springs for a week. I like to have a positive outlook in life because I feel like my time on earth is wasted on negative energy. I try to put that influence on children I take care of and show that your mindset and attitude is important. It’s perfectly okay to have your bad days and just as important to have as much fun as you can!
