Hiii! My name is Kristen and I am 28 years old. There is something that is absolutely unique and rewarding about spending time with children and getting to assist and witness their growth and development. It is an honor and such a special experience to be a part of. I love getting to aid families because I feel like it is a win-win situation. It is a positive challenge - as supervising and taking care of children is not just rainbows and sunshine. I am big believer that guiding children in their lives teaches us about ourselves and there is so much we learn with them hand in hand! I am incredibly active so I can definitely keep up! I am very hands on. While I am also very understanding that down time and rest is essential, I love to make sure everyday includes getting outside of the house, taking Read more some time where we can work on an activity during "playtime" that is fun but also lets them learn new skills. I am also very creative but as you will see via my resume... I am a stickler for organization, structure, details. I also am "one of THOSE" people who love tidiness and cleaning. Picking up, housework, laundry, and so on are absolutely a non-issue nor struggle for me! I am a big believer that helping maintain an organized and clean enough environment helps keep the daily routine and productivity move along smoothly. I love creating a space that allows kids to express themselves and nurture the essential need to have a creative outlet that feels healthy and natural for them. I am a huge advocate for mental health - for myself and those around me that I love. I am very up-to-date and always open minded to learning about methods and tactics that are helpful in guiding children to learn healthy habits, boundaries as their brains are in crucial learning stages that form their neuropathways that will affect how they move through life as they get older. Above all, I hold the values of communication, honesty, and respect to the highest standard of utmost importance. I will always uphold and respect the expectations, guidelines, and values of the families I work for.
