-Nannied for my cousin Sonya for 4 years (Started when she was 1yrs old). -Worked at 3 different children's schools. The first was The Da Vinci Center, a Russian afterschool care center, in Bellevue where I helped kids (ages of 4-6) with theater practice, art projects, reading and writing, math, etc.I supervised their meals, bathroom breaks, and free play. The second was Winding Willow School in Shoreline. It's a Waldorf-inspired play school (ages 2-6) where I helped kids develop their abilities to communicate, socialize, take responsibility for chores, and encouraged indoor and outdoor playtime. I helped get them ready for naps, meals, yoga, and art sessions. The 3rd is Northshore Junior High where I was a teacher's assistant for a 6th grade English class for 6 months. I have worked many different jobs but for me nannying is the most rewarding and feels most natural. Spending time with kids and Read more helping them learn how to navigate their interests, find their skills/strengths, and encourage them to be confident and respectful is such a joy. I find that having this framework while approaching my role as a nanny has made a positive impact on kids' development, and has made parents feel comfortable knowing that their kids aren't just being monitored, but are being cared for by someone who wants to see them thrive. I can speak fluent Russian, minored in Psychology and am working on completing my bachelors in Design. I love learning and that's how I've kept my grades high throughout my education. I love music, books, and being creative. I love the outdoors and being active. I like to be a positive role model and live intentionally.
