My name is Imara Setel, I love being a nanny because as a nanny, I get the opportunity to make a positive impact on children’s life’s. I get to watch them grow, learn, and develop new skills. I also have the chance to create a special bond with them, and be a positive role model. I am 21 years old, and I have been working with children for 8 years. Starting off as as a mothers helper for a new born, then becoming a babysitter to toddler and new born. To being a float teacher at my first child care and learning Center. (Being a float you get the opportunity to work in every classroom with all the age groups). Then transitioning into a Lead Toddler Teacher position. Doing so these were some of my responsibilities * Provided and served healthy breakfast, lunch, and snack * Cleaned and sanitized high Read more touch surfaces * 3 Step-cleaned toys and equipment used during the day * Facilitated large motor activities outside (weather-permitting) or activities indoors. * Lead parent-teacher conferences * Supervised nap time * Partnered with Co-teacher to carry out weekly curriculum * Practiced and demonstrated appropriate conflict resolution * Partnered with families, and my Co-teacher during Potty training I am super work oriented, nurturing, a great listener, good communication skills, fun, patient, and reliable. I really love working with children and helping them learn and achieve milestones.
