Hello future family!! My name is NITA CHAVERS, I currently reside in Shelton although I've not lived here for long. I came to this side of the state to start my career in the floral industry,I've been a florist wedding planner and event coordinator since I was 19,then covid came along and threw a wrench in my plans. So for now I'm going back to what I know,what I'm good at and what I believe will bring some happiness and a little less stress into some lives! I want to start by saying that I have 2 kids of my own but they are grown at this point,but in one form or another I've had children in my life and consider myself a kid kinda gal, as far as education goes when my children where younger I was enrolled in a birth to 3 program Eastern Washington University early Head Read more start. In fact my son was the first child to graduate from this program, I was heavily involved in it for almost 8 years! It's a great program for new parents or parents that just want to learn as much as possible about early childhood development. I'm a believer in structure and that children having set secduals helps so much! But I'm also a huge fan of FUN! I believe that children should be children and that means getting messy, playing in the dirt (if that's their thing) and letting kids know it's ok to be a kid,! Sometimes I think our youth grow up way to fast with all the technology, internet, social media. Although we can't have them living under a rock until their 18 then throwing them out into the world,theirs a balance it's just finding the balance that fits your family. I'm open to any and all religions and parenting situations, I'm in your home to be an extension of you while your away, and as far as children with behavior issues I don't not condone or participate in any kind of physical punishment, I also will not condone or participate in any form or emotional abuse, i.e. name calling,put downs, yelling, threats.kids are going to push their limits to see how far they can get and I have a few tricks up my sleeve to show them pushing isn't gonna work;) I respect your child/children as I would want them to respect me, I respect you,your home and your way of running that home as I would hope to be respected. And last and most importantly I believe in trusting each other like family, I'm an open book for the most part,I'm not going to desive you in anyway I will always be honest with you if you have any questions about me, and please feel free to ask
