I have worked as a paraeducator (teaching assistant for students in grades Pre-K through middle school) for both the Seattle and the South Kitsap School Districts. I have worked in various positions in education for almost my entire career, and I have also been on the Board of the Assistance League of Seattle for many years. This nonprofit helps to clothe and educate our area's most disadvantaged children and youth. I have dedicated my entire career to working to help children of all ages to reach their potential. I am a mother of three adults in their 20's. I was part of a babysitting co-op when my children were young, and a teaching assistant at a co-operative preschool for many years. I interact very positively with children of all ages, backgrounds, races and religious beliefs.
