Hi im Suzy! I am moving to the Bay City area in less than two months, from Eastern Washington State. I am currently pursuing my bachelors in Childrens Studies which is a multi-disciplinary program through Eastern Washington University and I should have my degree by Summer of 2022. I am currently a daycare teacher at a small privately run center in Eastern Washington and I can have up to 7 children in my class or 10 if I have a co-teacher. My class is ages 2 and a half to 4 years old, however I have spent a great deal of time in the toddler and pre-k classrooms. I love working with children because each child is so interesting and unique, and I genuinely enjoy listening to them and helping them better understand the world around them. I enjoy sensory play, arts and crafts, outdoor play and enhancing their knowledge and motor skills. In Washington I have my food handlers cards, first-aid/CPR training, and STARS training through the state, I also plan on having all of these certifications as soon as possible once I arrive in Texas.
