My name is Amanda Gilkeson, I’m 25 years old, and I am a very hard worker. I have been Nannying off and on for several years and am currently studying Cosmetology at EVCC and will be graduating next January. My most recent childcare experience was nannying full time in Seattle for a family who had a 9 month old child, and before that I was a nanny for a 1, 3, and 8 year old for 6 months until the family relocated to Portland. I also worked at Nordstrom Rack for two and a half years and Starbucks for a year and a half. I love music, arts and crafts and anything creative, and I have always been goofy and energetic. I am very fun and loving of children, and find my life to always be centered around fun activities with my friends and family. I grew up in the Read more Lynnwood/Brier area, in a big family with lots of siblings, I also have step siblings, and recently my father and step-mother had two children together, named Gabe and Gracie, who are now 4 and 6. They are two of the biggest blessings that has ever happened to my family, and always bring a smile to everyone's faces. My siblings and I helped raise them from the day they were born, and spent much of our time taking care of them and teaching them some of our talents. They have grown to be some of the sweetest, smartest, and funniest children I've ever known, and I am happy to have them in my life. I believe they’ve given me a lot of experience in babysitting, as well as the 1, 3, and 8 year olds I watched last year. I also am certified in Lifeguarding, CPR, and First aid, and take responsibility for children very seriously. I would love to have this opportunity to be your babysitter and hope that this gives a good idea of my background in babysitting and values. Thank you :)
