Hello Potential Family! I am looking for another awesome family to get to know for the next year or more! I do primarily work with infants and toddlers, but am open to working with children of all ages. I like to work long term with families (2+ years). So if you are looking for a long term commitment, that’s a plus. I have great references from my last three families (one of which I am currently still working with) I can provide. Although I do not want to leave my current family, my hours have been reduced and unfortunately, life requires me to work more hours. I am looking for full-time. I would love a family with some flexibility, but is not required. I have a masters in behavioral health, which does come in handy from time to time, particularly in understanding and analyzing child(ren) behaviors. But most of my Read more experiences are from engaging and interacting with children and although having milestones/statistics can be helpful, every child is different and should be allowed to grow and learn at their own pace rather than placing some irrelevant time frame in which a young child should meet (talk about pressure for the young kiddo!). I am also adult/child/infant CPR and first aid certified. I am currently living in Tacoma and would like to move back up to Seattle, therefore am seeking a position with a family in Seattle (Mercer Island will also be considered) and can be flexible with start date. I am hoping by October to be all moved. Otherwise, I can also stay with a friend if the right family comes along and needs an earlier start date. If you’d like to learn more about me, let me know.
