At the young age of 16 I started babysitting for several families who regularly attended my church. along with my sister, I also taught a Sunday School class for ages 4-6 and 7-9. I always knew I wanted to take care of people and upon graduating high school in 1990 I went straight into emergency medicine where I obtained an EMT license. From 2004-2008 I attended Saint Petersburg for an Associate's degree. I also obtained license in Clinical Medical Assisting from both Fortis College in 2009 and US Career Institute in 2013. From 2009 - 2011 I worked at a mental health hospital taking care of children with behavior problems. While working a full time day job from 2013 - 2014 I lived with a physician; Dr. Beth Saft who I assisted with the care of her two children and helped to maintain the house. Along with my EMT and Read more CMA license I am certified in CPR and BTLS. My best experience comes from raising a daughter who is now 16. Working in healthcare I've learned to multi-task quickly and become very organized. I would also like to think I am dependable, being punctual to work is very important. My entire career has revolved around people and children are always in it. I truly love making them feel better, but now I want to do more for them.
