My name is Haley, and I am currently working towards becoming a kindergarten teacher through Clark College and then WSU. I believe children are my passion, and I love working with them. In the past, I have been a camp counselor for my previous church's summer camp. I was given a group of girls from the ages 6-11, and I had to engage them in the activities, create questions to make sure they were learning, choreograph a dance for them to perform, and the basic care duties of supervision and feeding. I have babysat for my brother since his two children were infants, and nannied for him for five months when his daughter was in kindergarten. During that time, I had to pick her up from her bus stop, feed her, help her with homework, and keep her entertained. I also did light housework and helped with dinner sometimes. The Read more most recent experience I have is when I was a leader/teacher for children at my current church. Depending on the age group I was given, I had to keep them on a certain schedule as well as deal with drop off and pick up. I have my own car that is in good condition and reliable, and would love to help with cleaning, cooking, and laundry. I would love the opportunity to provide care for your children long term!
