Hello! My name is Michelle and I am a 27 years old college graduate with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and teaching English as a second language. I have 3 years experience teaching full time in a first grade classroom. I am a fun- loving, hardworking, self-motivated individual that values the importance of family and structured routine. I have worked many years providing care for children of all ages. I really love what I do! My most recent nanny position was a temporary position that turned into a long-term relationship for the last few years. I worked full-time in the summers; cooking, cleaning, doing laundry, teaching educational concepts, taking care of the family pet, and providing transportation to the girls and their friends. During the school year I provided pickup from school, homework help, and transportation to co-curricular and daily activities. I have a clean driving record as well as no criminal record. I am CPR and first aid certified and state trained (WI) for safety of children. I have strong communication skills with children as well as with adults. I also have extensive experience as a teacher to students of all ages, abilities and experiences. I have been well educated and have had many opportunities to travel and gain other cultural proficiencies. I have been to Europe and many of the states within the U.S.A. I would love to continue traveling, and exploring what splendors the world holds. In my leisure I enjoy singing, horseback riding, reading, and writing. I also find pleasure in visiting places I have never been and furthering my education. I believe you are never too old to stop learning.
