I have been working at Head Start for 9 years. We are a non profit organization that has a center based program for 3 to 5 years old. I started with this company as a mother, and then hired for a bus aide, then a bus driver, and now my title is a center assistant. With this position, I have taken Early Childhood 1 and 2, with obtaining my certificates for those. I also have infant/child and adult cpr, which i get renewed every 2 year. I have also had training in shaken baby, SIDS, child abuse and neglect. I also have worked with children with special needs as well. I have also had training in Conscious Discipline. I really enjoy working and taking care of children, because i love to watch them grow within themselves and to see how much they accomplish.
