After leaving corporate America to raise my 3 children, I ran a daycare in my home for 20 years. When my dad got very sick, I took care of him for 2 years, 70 hours a week; that time was very precious. I then became a nanny for a wonderful doctor's family who soon became like family to me. I treated their children and their home like my own. Just like in my home, we read lots of books, did arts and crafts, took excursions to local nature parks, played games and cards and enjoyed lots of outside time.
