I have several years of experience with a caregiving background. I was a CNA for over 10 years before I went back to school for my Diagnostic Medical Sonography degree (ultrasound). I have 2 girls, aged 14 & 17. When COVID started I moved my grandma in with us and became her full time caregiver for 2.5 years before she passed at the age of 93. I still work as needed in ultrasound but my love for caring for others and helping seems to precede ultrasound. I love reading and teaching little ones and am eager to be around the young fun ages as my girls are teens now and have become busy with sports and work.
