I am currently working for the YMCA Metropolitan of Milwaukee as a Licensed Program Coordinator for South Milwaukee and St. Francis School Age Programs. In the summer, I am the YMCA Unit Director for Greene Park Day Camp. My job responsibilities for both these titles include developing, implementing, and evaluating lesson plans, STEAM projects, field trips, meal plans, and special events for over 100 families from different backgrounds. Recently, I have been conducting research and pushing socio-emotional intelligence and learning to help YMCA staff and families gain a better understanding on early development. Last summer, I was an Event/Recreation Coordinator for Kenosha County Division of Parks. I researched the Kenosha County demographics, understood my targeted audience’s needs and wants, then marketed those purposes to form new recreational opportunities. At the Kenosha Unified School District (KUSD) Recreation Department, I have over two years of summer program experience working as a tennis coach to over 1,400 KUSD students and people of disabilities. I was able to successfully manage confidential, internal or external information and situations. My background includes being self-employed as a private tennis coach in the City of Kenosha for over three years. My high-energy personality allowed me to interact positively with clients of all ages and abilities. In addition, during my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, volunteering for special events, and exploring new places. I strongly believe that helping others will create a healthier community and gaining knowledge through experiences help better myself professionally and personally.
