I started babysitting when I was 16 when my cousin had asked me to help with her kids. I lived with her and her family for two months watching her daughter (9 months old) and her son (3 years old.) During this time I would watch, play with, change, read bedtime stories, fed, etc., while both parents were gone many hours during the day. After this experience, I fell in love with taking care of and being around kids while giving the parents a break so I have babysat for a couple families since. One family includes taking care of three very energetic girls ages three, five, and nine which shows I am capable and have experience with many different ages. At my previous job, where I worked as an activities team member, I got the opportunity to work with and around kids that were typically ages 1-13.
