I currently work as a special education teacher in MPS, teaching students between the ages of 10 and 12, many significantly impacted by autism. In the past, I have taught third and eighth grade in the regular education setting, given in-home therapy to children with autism, provided respite to children with autism, and worked in therapeutic recreation for children with significant physical and cognitive disabilities. I have additional experience babysitting over the last ten years, including caring for newborn twins through the age of two, infants between the ages of 2 and 4 and every age in between :)
