Hi, my name is Lucia. I love Jesus and have been blessed to be a mother of two children of my own. I am looking for a nannying position that would allow me to care for another child as I also care for my one and a half year old son. I am currently employed at a daycare, but am in search of a more intentional position. Nannying would allow me to focus more on teaching and encouraging children intentionally rather than having multiple kids to care for at once and just getting by in a childcare facility. I have qualifying experience in working with children of many ages. I began nannying as a teenager, and my first position was caring for two twin infants through their toddler years. Learning to care for twins has taught me plenty in multitasking and caring for more than one child at a time Read more in a home setting. I also worked in an elementary school as an educational assistant for some years. I worked with children from first grade through fifth grade. I also managed and lead the after school program. The age range of after school care students ranged from three year old's through high schoolers. I am now currently employed at a day care where I work with infants through seven year old's. I am in hope of finding a position that would allow me to care for and teach another child or two while still being able to bring my one and a half year old son along. I am a firm believer in teaching children through play and activities. I also understand each child is a blessing and made uniquely. Understanding each child as an individual and their way of learning is what I hope to be able to cater to and flourish.
