Hi! I am looking to find a great family to work with. I have been working with an applied behavior clinic for the past 4 years. I have worked with children with autism providing in home behavioral therapy. This type of therapy is very focused on positive reinforcement to achieve positive behaviors and skills in children. This includes structuring lesson plans and schedules, helping with self help (dressing and eating), social skills, and gross motor activities. However, as I progressed in this field I found myself missing the connection that develops from working closely with one family. I always wanted to help out parents that needed some extra help. I am an active person. I've run a few half marathons in the last couple years. I like to do arts and crafts and like finding new things for kids to do. I love animals as well. I am very accommodating to the needs of different families and I've had the opportunity to work with a variety of families and children through my job.
