I grew up with three younger brothers and have always been around children. I have experience babysitting and working with children in a school setting. I started my college career as a nursing major. I have a yr and a half background in the science of nursing. I graduated from Highland Community College in May 2012 with my associates degree in arts; as I decided nursing was not my interest. I transferred to the University of Wisconsin-Platteville as an Elementary Education major. At the end of my Junior year, I realized social work and psychology were my passions. Through the years of my college career, I have had the opportunity to work in hospitals- including the OB unit, in school systems, and provide counseling/mentoring services to children of all ages.
