My name is Taola Swenson I am 18 years old and I live in Saint Croix Falls, Wisconsin. I graduated from Grantsburg high school last year and decided to take my first year off of school to work. I have been working as a certified PCW (personal care worker) since June of 2015. I have mainly worked with elderly clients 80+ but have had one 14 year old client with autism. I typically work 72 hour shifts, sleeping at the clients house. My daily job routine is waking the client up, getting them showered and dressed, making breakfast, lunch, and dinnert, light house work cleaning (laundry, sweeping, dishes, taking garbage out ect.) reminding them to take their medications, running errands, bringing them to doctor appts, and other tasks to help them live at their own home comfortably. I am looking for a nanny position because, I enjoy working with kids Read more and wold like more hours, because the company I currently work for is overstaffed. Besides being a certified PCW, I have babysat kids since I was 14. I babysit my cousins frequently, ages 3 and 4. And have also babysit family friends kids ages 8months-12 years old. I think I would be a wonderful nanny because I have a huge heart and love hanging out with kids. I am a very outgoing, kind, smart, loyal, honest and hard working person. I also stay very calm, and don't have short temper and I think that is a huge personality trait to have while working with kids. Some things that I enjoy doing with previous kids that I've babysat are; going to the park, playing board games, not encouraging TV/electronics, baking fun easy snacks, coloring, and many other things, I just think it is very important to keep the kids brains working and doing fun educational actives. **also the computer I am using wont allow me to do a back ground check, but one can be provided if asked, just have to go to library!
