Hi! My name is Amy and I have recently moved here from Wisconsin. My last position was at a non-profit working for 11 years where I worked as a one-on-one staff for people with all ranges of disabilities and all ages. From non-verbal people, wheelchair bound clients, to ones with Down syndrome living in their own apartments. I love communicating at whatever level they are at and finding out their interests to engage them. To me, Autism and all its nuances and challenges are fascinating and I enjoy working with people on the spectrum and making their lives better and happier! am looking for respite baby sitting positions that do not require driving because of the liability. I have a perfect driving record, I just don't want the liability of transporting your precious cargo! That sad, I will drive if something unique, rare or unexpected comes up as I know things Read more happen! I am CPR certified. I am very personable, reliable and responsible. I have no criminal record and I have an A+ credit rating to attest to my character. I look forward to speaking with you!

Amy was fantastic. She worked with a grumpy old blind man and had him smiling the whole time. She boned up on conversation subjects. She was extremely attentive and patient. She was able to navigate a large house and verify our step dad was kept safe. She was flexible about managing down time. She was very sensitive about the emotional needs of both the senior and the family. I heartily recommend this wonderful, warm care- giver.
