Hello! I am a mother and grandmother of a grown married son, I have an amazing daughter in law that dated my son since they where 14 years old, I have two beautiful grandkids 11 and 9. I had worked as a medic for 17 years retired 2014. Worked at Region's hospital in the pathology lab for 12 years, that also involved the E.R. doing EKG. IV. Blood draws. I was a teacher at a early childhood education center. There were 8 newborn's to two old's Law is 4 kids to 1 adult so there where 2 of us. I like to do crafts and art, coloring, puzzles, outside time, just spend time with your kid's, they are the most important part of my job expectation I would hope.. Yes I will do the other things but I expect that they won't be so overwhelming that there isn't time to Read more do the fun educational things with your kids. Your home will be as clean or cleaner than when you left, your children will be well cared for fed, had their naps if required, played with, done craft's all with caring and love. I do teach kids age appropriate correction starting at age 2, they get a break, a break timer set at 1 minute per year of age. They will know and understand what they did that wasn't ok..I believe that it is very important to get down to their level especially when you are talking with them, explaining wanting them to understand what you are talking about...I believe kid's need to be responsible to pick up after themselves, I love to have them help in the kitchen, or bake with me, teach them to have age appropriate responsibility is good. Teaching them respect is good.. I believe that can start at 2 years of age.. Your kid's will be loved and cared for as if they were my own..
