Hi, my name is Elle. I am 19 years old and a freshman at Miami University in Ohio. Over the course of the past 3 summers I have been a camp counselor at Camp Lucerne and Camp Minikani. During those experiences I was trained to work with children ages 4-12. I really enjoyed getting to know each of the kids. Every one of my campers was so special to me. In addition, I worked with children ages 3-7 at a Milwaukee community center summer lunch program. At the lunch program, I was responsible for engaging the children and teaching them about healthy nutrition in a fun way. I earned my Girl Scout Gold Award for this project.
