Hi, my name is Samantha Guenther. I’m 18 years old and currently taking a gap year before attending University of Vermont in the Fall of 2024. I recently graduated from University High School last spring. As a student I am very hardworking. I was a National Merit Scholar, president of Math Honors Society, varsity cross country runner, WV all state percussionist, and in the top 5% of my graduating class. While busy with school I have also been very driven with work. I started working as an event coordinator at the West Virginia Botanic Garden in 2020, moved on to hostessing at Dockside and Crabshack until late 2022, and finally started working as an at home caregiver for the elderly with Visiting Angels this past January. I found the caregiver job to be the most fulfilling for me. I have been a caretaker for my paraplegic mother for the last Read more two years, so caretaking is something I’m very familiar with. I would love to switch from elderly caretaking to child care because I love kids (and it’s a happier atmosphere). I have a younger sister and often babysit for my boyfriends sister. I also was a math teacher for elementary school kids in the Morgantown Math Club throughout the 2022-23 school year, as well as a summer camp. I’m reliable, hardworking, kind, and trustworthy and would love to help with kids!
