Most recently I was hired as an Infant/Toddler Educator Trainee with Early Head Start. I was trained on the job and I studied for my CDA, Childhood Developmental Associate Certificate, within the next year I obtained my CDA and was promoted to Infant/Toddler Educator. I not only cared for 8 children, 6 weeks to 3 years old but I also wrote lesson plans and implemented them with the children, playing and learning. Every moment is a learning moment! Prior to this: I have cared for a preemie at 2 weeks and her 1-year-old brother for nearly 2 years. I took care of meals 3 times a day, playtime, nap time and bedtime.
