For the past years I have been babysitting my little cousins and sister. I have always enjoyed watching over kids and would like to continue it. I am a psychology major currently and plan to have my master's as a BCBA. I have had the opportunity to be able to work with children at a Child Development Center. There I helped the teachers with snacks, watching the children, observing, planning activities out with the children and learning how to handle different situations in a child setting. I was a camp counselor for a Summer Gifted Program that lasted for two weeks. I was in charge of a floor of 20 girls. I woke them up for breakfast, walked them to breakfast, made sure they got to their classes. I had to think of different activities for the children of the camp to do in the evenings after dinner. In the Read more library I helped the children with their homework or any questions they might have concerning their classes. I had to make sure they were all in bed by a certain time and that they were all safely in their rooms. I had my door unlocked and phone on loud at all times for emergency purposes.
