I love children. I like to give them a structured, yet loving environment. I have two nephews and a niece who I adore and try to spend quality time with when I can. I also helped care for my grandfather for five years. I enjoy watching children learn and grow and explore. I find them to be such fascinating little beings! I do use the time out method for discipline. Time out for the minutes equal to their age. I read to children, feed them well balanced meals with snacks if they ate well, and I plan activities to help them learn subjects appropriate for their age. I went to Shepherd University for two years studying a major in Psychology and a minor in consumer resources with an emphasis in child development. I worked in a daycare at the school during a semester. My other experience is babysitting once I Read more recieved my certified babysitting course at the age of 13. I have enjoyed watching children off and on sense. Otherwise, I worked at a dentist office for 3 years as a dental assistant and receptionist. Currently, I work at a mental health center in the admissions department but I am looking for a change of pace. Please contact me if you are interested after reading this.
