My varied background with children of all ages, and my education provide a wealth of experience and knowledge that will enrich any home. In the past, I have been a nursery school teacher, provided childcare in my own home, was co-director of an elementary age after school program and summer day camp, and I was Christian Education Director at two churches, teaching children of all ages and multi-age groups. I homeschooled my two boys for 10 years. Currently, I am a professional pastel artist, and have taught pastel art classes to elementary age children. My educational background is an MA In Marriage, Family and Child Counseling, with a special emphasis on counseling with children. I am in good heath and am energetic. I enjoy creating an atmosphere of fun, easily engaging with children on their level. I've worked with kids of all ages for 17 years (as a substitute teacher K-12) and am trained in Behavior therapy. I've always had a passion for little ones. On the weekends I am usually volunteering at my local cafe nursery, or just spending time with my little sister. I have previously taken the American Red Cross babysitting course, and I am also CPR certified.
