I have a 5 year old Golden doodle and a 4 year old Border Collie mix that will need a sitter while we are on vacation. I prefer a house with no small children or pets and a good sized yard. They are used to someone being home with them. They are low maintenance and don't need a lot of exercise but love going on walks or playing with you. They are house trained with a dog door. My doodle does not like cats or other small animals and he is too big and unaware of his surroundings to be around small children. He can get a little food aggressive with other animals or kids as well. The other dogs in our home have learned to leave him alone when he is eating. He has never been aggressive towards any adults and has no bite history. Overall I am looking for someone who can watch them in your home and be home with them a majority of the time. That's pretty much all it takes to make them happy.
