I am looking for a responsible and caring individual who can provide temporary, in-home care for my Miniature Schnauzer, Winston.

My husband recently passed away, and there is currently no one available to care for Winston during the day. I work long hours in the Bay Area, and my house is not safely set up for him to be left alone all day (e.g., no doggy door).
I need temporary daily care for Winston for approximately 12 hours a day, Monday through Friday, for a total of eight days, specifically: December 3rd to December 5th, and December 8th to December 12th. This arrangement would give me the crucial time needed to prepare my house to be safe for him to stay alone moving forward.
I will drop him off in the morning and pick him up in the evening. I will provide all necessary food, toys, and supplies.

About Winston:
Winston (male) is a pure breed Miniature Schnauzer from a breeder (Bakersfield). His coat is black and silver. He’s neutered and weighs about 29.2 lbs.
Winston is sensitive to noise. He's easily scared or startled by a loud, sudden, or unexpected noise (e.g., sharp sounds like a pot or spoon dropping)
While a friend cared for him for two months, Winston has no daycare experience. My husband took care of him at home while I worked, but my husband passed away in August.
He will growl at a stranger, but as soon as he sniffs them, he'll stop. He has never had any incident of biting a dog or a person. He will not growl if you take his food. He's normally a calm dog by himself. Winston will bark initially at new dogs/persons, but his behavior will settle as he acclimates to the environment.
He thrives on attention and care, and particularly loves being touched and pet.
