Needs: feed 2x/day, walk 2x/day (1x morning, 1x before bedtime), keep her company.

Maple is sweet, gentle, affectionate, and low maintenance ~75lb German/Anatolian shepherd mix. House trained, knows commands: sit, down, stand, stay, come, and will wait for her food until given “ok!” release.

Maple walks very well on leash and does not typically react to other dogs who bark/ lunge at her on sidewalk. She may show interest in squirrels but can be corrected with a firm leash hand. If fireworks or extremely loud motorcycle noises startle her, she may become afraid and pull strongly on the leash to go home. Depending on how severe the noise is, be prepared to hold on to her.

Maple is pretty relaxed and loves to nap/lounge around (belly rubs welcome). She does not have severe attachment but is more comfortable if she can feel somebody’s general presence, even if it is on the other side of the house or a on different floor. Please inform us if you would need to leave her alone at home.
