Dog with anxious excitable behavior toward people and dogs

Our 2 year-old boxer male is the sweetest and silly dog. He gets overly excited when meeting new people and dogs. He normally stays home with us, and we try to take him places, but it requires a great deal of work. We would like to find a trainer to help with this process.
