We have two dogs, Snoop (6) who is a Lab/Carolina dog mix, and Kiara (5) who is a Ridgeback/Black Mouth Cur mix. Both gentle souls who love to cuddle. We live in a town home so walks are needed 4 - 5 times per day. We usually go on one longer walk and the rest are potty breaks to local parks. Snoop is on daily meds but takes them without any fuss. He is loveable though does have reactivity on leash when other dogs are close (hence the park visits for lots of space) and Kiara is a sensitive little lady and gets spooked by scary things! But we have tips for minimizing those scary events. We prefer someone to stay in our home and is someone who works remote, is retired, or a full time sitter. Dogs can be left for up to 6 hours, but need those potty breaks. We can arrange our dog walker to assist when there is the need for sitters to be out of the home for extended periods. Both pups are snugglers, including at bedtime!
