I have one 50-lb poodle in need of weekend care beginning Friday and ending Sunday evening. He is a male poodle, 5 years old. He takes medication in the morning (a pill that I place in his mouth or in peanut butter, provided I guarantee he has eaten it). He is leash reactive and should stay away from other dogs and children. He also barks, so he should not be kept in a home where that would be a severe issue. He should not be kept in a home with other pets.

That said, he is a sweetheart, and a goofball, and a very, very strange little guy. He has never had any issue at daycare (he goes weekly), boarding (he goes to Diana's Pet Care in Maryland and The Dog Farm out in Virginia), or with dog walkers. I just try to be extra cautious because he is anxious and reactive, but with the right environment and care, his triggers can be avoided.
