We just moved to Emmett and are looking for a pet sitter for “the kids”. We are going out of town for a wedding June 5-7 and will be again be out of town June 12-14. We prefer having someone at the house with them while we’re out of town, in order to keep their environment the same to reduce stress. If everyone gets along, I would also like someone who can walk them occasionally on days my husband and I are both working (our schedules don’t always line up-but 1-2 days a week on different days).

The kids:

Charlie: 11 year old cattle dog mix. I don’t know when cattle dogs slow down, but it’s not at 11. He still has a lot of energy! I saw a 3 legged puppy and had to have him, and he’s been my heart ever since. He has some typical cattle dog tendencies, he will nip when he’s excited so I definitely want someone that can handle that. He is shy around new people but will warm up quick (especially if I’m not around-he’ll need someone else to follow around).

Mallory: 5 year old Belgian Malinois. She’s a lot of dog! Very high energy, loves going on runs with me, hiking and fetch. We adopted her at 9 months old and has gone through quite a bit of training, but she is a typical Mal and will try to push the boundaries to see what she can get away with. She usually gets along with other dogs but will put them in their place if she thinks they’re being rude and is very rough when she plays so we’re selective with what dogs she’s around. She LOVES people and will cuddle with you any chance she can get.
